JULIA MERCIER
Julia Mercier is the Principal of Mercier Talent Solutions LLC and a trusted advisor to lawyers and law firm leaders.
A former litigator with more than a decade of experience leading professional development initiatives in global law firms, Julia works with lawyers at critical points in their careers. Her coaching practice focuses on associates, partners, practice group leaders, and senior business professionals who are navigating increased leadership responsibility and complexity.
Julia’s work focuses on strengthening leadership effectiveness, communication, and management capability in complex legal environments. She regularly coaches partners and senior leaders on strategic delegation, performance management, and navigating challenging interpersonal dynamics, with particular attention to the systems, habits, and leadership behaviors that reinforce accountability, collaboration, and high-performing teams within law firms. In addition to her coaching work, Julia is a frequent speaker for law firms and professional audiences on leadership, communication, and talent development in legal organizations.
Julia holds a law degree from the University of Montreal (2004) and completed her executive coaching training at New York University (2016). She is a Certified DISC Practitioner, a Hogan-certified coach, an MBTI Certified Practitioner, and a Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
Outside of her client work, Julia contributes her expertise pro bono to the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund, supporting initiatives that advance gender equality and women’s leadership in conflict-affected regions. She is also an amateur competitive rider and often draws on lessons from the discipline in her leadership work, particularly around presence and mindfulness.

ALLIE MCFARLANE
Allie McFarlane is the Practice Manager of Mercier Talent Solutions LLC and brings more than a decade of experience working within complex organizations across the hospitality, private equity, and finance sectors. Her career has been shaped by roles that combine operations, administration, and leadership in environments where reliability and coordination are critical.
Throughout her professional path, Allie has worked closely with senior leaders and teams to help organizations function smoothly and cohesively. Her background includes leading office operations, managing teams, coordinating large-scale programs and events, and creating marketing and communications materials that support organizational goals and client engagement.
At Mercier Talent Solutions, Allie is responsible for the operational foundation of the firm, ensuring that clients experience a high level of care, consistency, and responsiveness throughout their engagements.
Allie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Huddersfield (UK) and is a commissioned Notary Public.
Outside of her professional work, Allie is actively involved in animal welfare, regularly volunteering her time at an animal shelter, which reflects her approach to responsibility, consistency, and care in her professional work.
